The golden age of the city fell during the era of Roman rule — then it was known as Gerasa. Today, Jerash is recognized as one of the best preserved provincial Roman cities in the world. For centuries, the city has been hidden under tons of sand — excavations began only 70 years ago. The ancient city, which has seen many historical events in its lifetime, is constantly being restored. Streets, blocks, as well as individual buildings are being restored.

According to the historians of Byzantium, it was in Jerash that Jesus Christ performed one of his most famous miracles — he turned water into wine. Lunch in Ajlun. After – visit place, where you can find local products and handmade.   After Ajlun – visit Umm Qais.  Overnight and Dinner in Amman

Day 3  Amman – Bethany – Dead Sea

Breakfast & Heading to the Baptism Site of Jesus.

This tour is amazing to feel the energies of Jesus and Mother Mary. It makes also clear how close Israel is and how the history of both lands are connected. Just a few meters from the river Jordan other spiritual and religious groups will go into the water and get baptized.

The Jordan River Valley in Bethany is the place of the baptism of Jesus Christ. The Jordan River is relatively small and shallow, but its waters are considered sacred and are one of the main Christian shrines. According to the Bible, it was in them that John the Baptist baptized Jesus of Nazareth: “I baptize you with water, but there comes One Stronger than me, from whom I am not worthy to untie the shoe strap. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire” (Luke 3:16). Pilgrims from all over the world travel to Jordan and Israel to plunge into the waters of the sacred river.

When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry. Imagine that there is a place on Earth where you feel yourself out of Time, out of the usual dimensions, where you feel the fusion of the elements and, at the same time, the infinite freedom of Space around. This is the Dead Sea.

This is a place where the Earth, Water and the Sun unite into one, a place that gives everyone who comes his Strength, cleansing from ailments and giving inner Space and Lightness…  Dinner in the Hotel.

Day 5 Petra – Petra Visit-Wadi Rum (B, L, D)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Here is the eighth wonder of the ancient world.

The ancient Nabataean city of Petra was founded in these rocks about 4 millennia ago (according to other sources — 2 millennia), back in the Edomite era — then a small but well-defended fortress was built in the rocks.

All the buildings of Petra were built mainly in three periods: under the Idumeans (XVIII–II centuries BC), the Nabataeans (II century BC — 106 BC) and the Romans (106-395 AD). In the XII century, the ancient city was owned by the Crusader knights of the Teutonic Order. The monuments built here after the VI century A.D. have practically not reached us. Therefore, the appearance of Petra, which is opening to the eyes of tourists today, is the ancient capital of the Nabataean kingdom.

An interesting fact is that the territory of Petra has been studied by only 15% at the moment, so it is possible that soon the mysteries of the ancient city may amaze the whole world! And now imagine that these 15% are about 800 (!) different historical sites on the territory of Petra!

Lunch in Petra.

After – transfer to Wadi Rum (1.45hrs Drive) for Dinner and Overnight

Day 9 Aqaba – Wadi Mujeeb – Dead Sea

Breakfast. Transfer to Wadi Mujib.

The picturesque gorge of Wadi Mujib, smoothly running down into the Dead Sea at 400 m below sea level, is an ascent from the Dead Sea through a deep gorge, at the bottom of which flows a mountain stream originating from hot mineral springs. If you want to feel the adrenaline in your blood, put on a life jacket and hit the road!

Climbing the gorge will require you to have good physical fitness and extraordinary fortitude. You will have to overcome the rapids, climbing with ropes, swimming in some places, but the feeling of delight that awaits you at the end of the gorge, under a waterfall that throws down warm healing water, can not be compared to anything!    Transfer to Dead Sea. One of the sunniest places in the world (about 330 sunny days a year). There is 10% more oxygen in the atmosphere over the Dead Sea than over any other sea, which will greatly contribute to our practice of conscious Breathing and Movement. In addition, there is the thickest ozone layer, which excludes from the spectrum of sunlight the most dangerous ultraviolet rays for the body. Being in the water of the Dead Sea, you experience a child’s delight from incomparable sensations, because here you can lie in any position, even sit — so salty water strongly pushes the body to the surface. On the shore, you can smear yourself with healing black mud, in general, a natural spa salon!  Reach Dead Sea Hotel, Dinner & Overnight.
